THE PRICING BREAKDOWN
Many brides and grooms ask how it is that the cost of wedding flowers can vary so much. This is why I have included a little explanation to address some of the most frequently asked questions as well as a rough price guide for our most popular items.
Many factors affect the pricing of a wedding. Firstly is the cost of the flowers themselves. Flowers are seasonal and greatly affected by the changing weather conditions, as well as supply and demand. I endeavour to source the particular flowers you request, but as this is not always possible I will strive to select alternative options to best suit your style, budget and the theme of your wedding. I use premium flowers, mostly from local grower to ensure high quality blooms.
Floristry is not as simple as purchasing flowers and throwing them together any which way. The size and complexity of the designs as well as the time taken will affect the prices. Many hours of time, care and thought is put into every piece I create.
Delivery of Bridal/Groom flowers as well as location and venue are also factors. Quite often I am given very limited time to set up a space and therefore some extra hands are needed to help me get the job done. If the venue is one that we need to travel a great distance to then we may need to stay overnight in the area. These factors need to be taken into consideration quoting.
The Lillipillian is a boutique studio. I only take on a set number of clients per week as I like to take the time to get to know my clients in order to see their visions come to life.
The prices above are a general indication based on our most popular items. These prices are not set in stone and are individually assessed depending on each couples need.
